The Gehl SL4240 is a mid-frame skid steer loader. CYLINDER COUNT WARNING: this platform was supplied with EITHER the 3-cylinder Yanmar 88 mm engine OR the 4-cylinder 4TNV88 (2.190 L, approx. 46 hp) depending on build and market. Gehl's factory engine parts manual 917329 covers both the 3TNV88-BKMS and 4TNV88-BDMS for the 3640 / 3840 / 4240 platform. Confirm the cylinder count on your data plate before ordering - the 3-cylinder and 4-cylinder engines are not interchangeable.
