The Hitachi ZX27U-2 runs the 88 mm Yanmar three-cylinder, and we stock it in both fuel systems - mechanical injection and electronic common rail, new surplus and rebuilt. Which one you need comes down to what is on your data plate, not what is on the machine badge.
The Hitachi ZX27U-2 is a 2.7-ton class reduced tail-swing mini excavator from the Zaxis-2 compact series. It is powered by the 3-cylinder Yanmar 88 mm-bore direct-injection diesel. IMPORTANT: while the ZX27U-2, ZX30U-2 and ZX35U-2 are 3-cylinder machines, the larger ZX40U-2 and ZX50U-2 in the same series use the 4-CYLINDER 4TNV88 - confirmed in Hitachi's own ZAXIS-2 factory brochure. Verify by data plate.
