The Komatsu WA30-6 is a compact articulated wheel loader used in landscaping, municipal work, agriculture and light material handling. It shares its engine core with Komatsu's PC-series compact excavators - the 3D88E appears in WA30-6 overhaul-kit fitment alongside the PC30MR-3, PC35MR-2, PC35MR-3 and PC35R-8. An articulated loader works its engine at sustained rpm under continuous load.
